Madonna

Madonna is an artist that started her career in the 80′s with some of the first pop. She was extremely popular and ever has a phrase named after (pre-madonna). She released many albums and a least two hit singles vogue and living on a prayer. She was wildly as I said before popular and may I say wealthy. So when she released her latest album it was a real shock for me anyway. Some people believe that this single was a mistake, she should have left the industry with a good name, they say that this album was just put out so no one would forget about Madonna. So now I want to know do you think it was right to jump back in.

 

Safe and Sound by Taylor and the Civil Wars

As many of you know the movie for the Hunger Games is coming out soon. So as you know all movies have sound tracks. One song from the song track caught my attention. It’s by Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars. Its called Safe and Sound. It makes references to the book many times, Like in the book the main character returns to her old house and its burnt. and in the video Taylor visits a burnt house. Motley Crue vs. The Temptations

Now I’ve posted on two awesome bands now it is your turn tell me witch of these two bands is better Motley Crue or the The Temptations.

The Temptations

The Temptations, they make music that sticks with you and brings a grin to your face when you hear it. Especially for me their music holds a place in my heart and my memory, sitting in my dad’s truck listening to it on a warm summers afternoon, karaoke in my bed room with my cousins. The songs you never would never think that you would like them but one way or another you find them and you really like them and if you don’t have a dad who only listens to music from the 50′s through the 80′s I’ll introduce you to a song by The Temptations called “My Girl”. It was released in 1964 under the Motown label and by 1965 it was a number one seller. And from there they just started producing the music of their age putting smiles on people’s face’s and it does not matter if it’s 1964 or 2012 The Temptations made a very rare kind of music the kind that is timeless and people that make that kind of music deserves to be recognized and hold a prominent place in our lives and our hearts

 

Motley Crue Home Sweet Home

Now I know that I usually blog about new music but some times we need to reach back to our heritage, and when we do some times we find something that we other wise never would have found. Doing this expands our other wise secluded musical horizon. But it just so happens that my favorite song is one of these throw-back songs and its called Motley Crue Home Sweet Home. it was realised in 1985 in the album theater of pain, and it was also realised a second time in 1991 on the album Decade of Decadence. It is one of the best 4:00 minutes you will ever spend reaching back in to your heritage. I have put a link to the song down below.

Taylor Swift If This Was A Movie

Taylor Swift wrote a song called if this was a movie its very well written. Its about her breaking up with her boy friend and she is talking about how she misses him and how if it was a movie he would have come back by then.
